We just had to replace a set of French doors on our home. After being battered by 3 hurricanes the past 2 years they were rotting before our very eyes. And even though we would rather not have spent the money, we were thrilled to learn that those doors might give us a tax credit.

And there are other energy tax credits and savings available to taxpayers. Insulating your attic, installing new windows and doors, air conditioning, furnaces, solar energy, even hybrid cars could be worth tax credits for you or at least tax deductions.

Two websites provide lots of information about the many ways you can save tax dollars by becoming more energy efficient.
