It was just revealed that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and his wife were the victims of identity theft.  The fact that this happened to one of the most powerful men in Washington Bernanke is more proof that everyone is a potential ID theft target. 

Mrs. Bernanke had her pocketbook--which included her checkbook, credit cards and Social Security card--stolen and the trouble spiraled from there.
