Number 1: I have been paying my cards on time every month since 2003. I did have a bankruptcy in April 2003, which is 6 years ago. first Equity dropped my credit from 2000 to 1800 because they said I had too many cards and a bankruptcy which they never said two years ago when they gave me this card.
Second, Chase just lowered my Washington Mutual from 2300 to 1900. I have not used this card in months and had it down to $1300 and continued to pay it off and on time for months. I have two HSBC cards for 1000 each and have them going down month to month till I pay them off in six months. They raised my interest rate in November. GEOnline closed three accounts on me that I paid off, PAID OFF! They were for a refrigerator, a bed and glasses. I have not used them after I paid them off. A YEAR AGO! Why did they close them on their own if we aren't suppose to close credit cards? MY credit score had been steadily going up to over 650 until the banks started messing with my credit. I blame my credit issues now on THEM ENTIRELY! Now my credit score went down to the low 600's because of their mess not mine. Faithfully paying on time and within thiry days DOES NOT MAKE A DIFFFERENCE ANYMORE AND SO I DISAGREE WITH YOU GUYS TOTALLY. I CANNOT WAIT TILL I PAY THEM OFF AS THIS IS A PAIN.

I JUST DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS IS GOING TO TURN AROUND ANYMORE. WE THE CONSUMERS ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE THE BANKS ARE NOW HURTING OUR CREDIT. I WORKED SO HARD TO TURN THINGS AROUND AND NOW MY CREDIT IS GOING TO BE AFFECTED BECAUSE OF WHAT THE BANKS THEMSELVES ARE DOING TO THE CONSUMERS. IT IS A SAD MOMENT IN TIME WHEN WE ARE BEING CONTROLLED BY THE BANKING INDUSTRY RATHER THEN BY OUR GOOD DEEDS.
I always pay my cards on time and more then the amount due. I had some major life events and needed to use my credit cards to pay for needed bills. Now because my LTV is high my credit score dropped from 710 to 645. Credit card companies are lowering my limits, even though they are paid on time, and that is making my score worse. These greedy banks are charging ridiculous fees and jacked up my interest rates. Our tax dollars bailed them out and now they are screwing u and the gov't is letting them. Once again the middle class takes the brunt of the pain
